For the March meeting, the Alabama Section has invited David Armistead is Vice President of Sales for DC Blox, to present a tour of their Data Center. This event will be held on Monday, March 7th, 2022.  All attendees are requested to register for the meeting on vTools.  Please email RoyBrown@southernco.com after attending the event if you want a PDH certificate.

David Armistead, Vice President of Sales, DC Blox

David Armistead is Vice President of Sales for DC Blox and is responsible for leadership, management, and daily direction of DC BLOX sales, including retail, strategic, enterprise and channels.

Prior to joining DC BLOX, David was Sales Vice President at C Spire, a diversified telecommunications and technology services company which serves commercial and government clients across the Southeastern US. He spent the past 25 years in numerous leadership positions in sales, marketing, operations, and consulting services while working for BridgePoint Group, Congruent Solutions and SunGard.

David Armistead will discuss DC Blox, their mission, what they do, where they are located and answer any questions anyone may have.  DC Blox has also invited one of their Network Engineers to attend and discuss their network, their interconnected data centers, and their rural broadband solutions. Chris White, Executive Solutions Advisor for Complete3 Tech Solutions, will be with us to provide a DC Blox customer perspective.

Rebecca Beard, Data Center Manager for DC Blox, will lead a tour of the data center after the discussion.
