Technology for the Elderly: Challenges and Opportunities

We are surrounded by an explosion of technology-based solutions that could improve the quality of life for older adults. Are you aware of these technologies? What are the challenges and opportunities for getting these technologies into people’s hands? Do elders really benefit from this? IEEE SIGHT (Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology) Montreal invites you to attend a panel discussion where outstanding speakers with different backgrounds will cover all these subjects from multiple angles.

  • Dr. Jane Barratt, Secretary General, International Federation on Ageing (IFA)
  • Dr. Alex Mihailidis, Scientific Director & CEO, AGE-WELL
