Dear Sir/Madam
Greetings from IEEE CASS Kerala chapter !
With the advent of Edge AI computing and AI chips, the low resource devices and sensors in healthcare, consumer electronics, smart city applications, Industry 4.0 can now be detached from the requirements of centralized high performance computing facilities, and several of the intelligent computing tasks performed in the edge device in a distributed manner. This has tremendous potential in developing newer cost effective and efficient solutions in all the above sectors.
To support and encourage this emerging area of AI based circuits and systems, two parallel events are being organized.
The first of its kind
MV Startup Challenge on AI based circuits and systems
offers a platform to showcase innovative solutions that can be shown as a proof of concept and has a potential to be scaled up as commercial products. The product solutions should explicitly make use of intelligent embedded/reconfigurable computing and/or AI chips.
Who can apply? The challenge is open for students, existing startups and professionals.
- Solutions addressing present and future needs posed due to COVID pandemic are welcome.
- All projects must include efficient implementations of AI algorithms, systems, and hardware.
The winners of the challenge will obtain 18 months of incubation at Maker village Kochi and a prize money to build their prototypes.
Last date to submit the applications is 1st of July 2021.
The second parallel event is
