About PESGRE2022:
The IEEE International conference on "Power Electronics, Smart Grid and Renewable Energy
(PESGRE 2022)" is a new biennial conference organized by IA/IE/PEL Jt. Chapter Kerala. The
conference is sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society, IEEE Kerala Section, IEEE IA/IE/PEL
Jt. Chapter Kerala, IEEE Power Electronics Society, IEEE Power & Energy Society, and IEEE
Industrial Electronics Society. The conference is intended to provide a major forum for the
exchange of information among practicing professionals from all over the globe in the areas of
Power Electronics, Motor Drives & Electric Vehicles, Smart Grid & Renewable Energy. The
conference theme is “Power Electronics and renewable energy for sustainable development”.
The conference focuses on the latest technologies, strategies and challenges that are faced by
power electronics systems, electric drives, renewable energy resources and the interconnection
to modern power systems and the operation in the smart grid environment for a better, smarter
and more environment friendly power System.
Call for Papers:
Technical papers are solicited on subjects pertaining to the scope of the conference that
includes, but is not limited to the topics:
 Power Electronic Converters, Control Systems, EMI/EMC
 Electric Drives and Electric Vehicles
 Smart Grid and Micro grid
 Renewable Energy Resources, Distributed Generation and Grid Interconnection
 Energy Storage and Battery Charging Technologies
 HVDC, FACTS, Power Systems and Power Quality
 Wide band-gap devices
 Lighting and Illumination
 Energy policies & Standards
 Power Electronics Education
Paper Submission:

Authors are invited to submit 6-page full paper in standard IEEE conference format for review. All
accepted and presented papers at the conference will be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital
Library. Extended versions of all presented papers will be eligible for further review and possible
publication in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.
