Proctors Needed for IEEEXtreme Programming Competition

Dear IEEE member,
The IEEEXtreme coding competition is approaching. We have received indications that a number of teams at the University of Canterbury are interested in taking part.
As per regulations, teams must be accompanied by a proctor. We are thus looking for one or more volunteer proctors to supervise competitors on the 24th/25th of October (the date of the competition). The competition is over a 24-hour period, but you won't have to be there for the full 24hrs, as the proctors will be in shifts. The more proctors the shorter the shifts.
Official Regulations (from IEEE Website):
Proctor tasks include:
- Monitoring the general flow of the activity
- Informing students when the competition begins, at the middle of it, when there are six hours left, and when there is one hour left
- Ensuring that no one external to the team members helps or assists the student participants in resolving the problems in any way.
A proctor can monitor no more than eight teams.
A proctor must be a non-student member of IEEE (undergraduate and graduate students are not allowed)
