- Cody Voight – Treasurer (voightac@gmail.com)
- Joe Woermer – Vice Chair (Joseph.Woermer@ascopower.com)
- Laurence Jones – Event Organization Officer (laurence.jones@wsp.com)
- Josh Rosato – Recruiting Officer (Josh.Rosato@ascopower.com)
Please reach out to us if you want to discuss what IEEE IAS has been working on or just want to learn more. The recent IEEE Section Congress identified the need for providing resources to serve industry professionals and engage with local industries. This aligns perfectly with the motivating factor to organize this geographic chapter:
The Richmond metro area, including Petersburg, Fredericksburg, and surrounding counties has a significant amount of industry growth in multiple sectors relating to IEEE work. For many of us there is a need for more technical education, professional networking, and a desire to find ways to educate and support our community. There are many challenges for the younger generation and a desire for experienced professionals to pass along a wealth of knowledge in many ways that build companionship and community.
We recognize that all industry from mining facilities to industrial plants and commercial office buildings have had to make many adjustments, while continuing to learn, collaborate, and support our community. We welcome you to give us feedback on ways to support our membership, helping to make our goal for IAS Richmond to become a great chapter for our professionals a reality. Please see the Google Form linked here: Event Options Feedback to let us know what would interest you.
Thanks and hope all is well with you and your family during these difficult times,
Chuck Niedermayer, IAS Richmond Chair
