CALL FOR PAPERS
IEEE PICC 2020, the third edition of the International Conference on POWER INSTRUMENTATION CONTROL AND COMPUTING organized by Departments of Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering of Government Engineering College Thrissur, technically co- sponsored by IEEE Kerala Section, Industry Applications Society and Power Electronics Society is scheduled to be held in the Virtual Mode under the aegis of International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering Science and Technology (ICETEST 2020), with a control centre at Government Engineering College Thrissur, Kerala, India, during December 10 to 12, 2020. The previous editions of the conferences IEEE PICC 2015 and IEEE PICC 2018 were conducted successfully. Also the previous editions received overwhelming response and good feedback from authors and participants.

The third edition of conference’s theme is on the latest computing and control techniques applied to address the challenges faced by modern power systems, electric drives and industries to develop smart and energy-efficient solutions for a better society and environment-friendly digital world. The conference’s theme and tracks have been chosen considering the areas of interest of various research scholars, IEEE societies, the recent trends in the industry, and the state-of-the-art in different areas of electrical, electronics and computer science. In addition to twelve technical tracks, the conference will have virtual keynote addresses by reputed speakers and panel sessions to facilitate interaction among young researchers, students, academicians and engineers. All accepted and presented papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® digital library. 20% of the papers presented in PICC 2020 will be recommended for possible publications in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications (SCI indexed) The Call for Papers document is available in the brochure,

SCOPE

Consistent with the theme of the conference, prospective authors and researchers are
invited to participate and contribute research papers discussing original research under

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The size of the paper is limited to 6 pages conforming to the IEEE format and specifications.
