The 17th International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (APSYM-2020) organized by the Department of Electronics, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin, India is scheduled to be held during 14 – 16 December 2020 (online mode). The event is supported by IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Kerala Section.

This biennial symposium, started in 1988, is intended to provide a forum for the presentation of theoretical and experimental innovations in the field of electromagnetic wave propagation and antennas. The technical sessions which include invited lectures, workshops, tutorials, student competitions will give ample opportunity for the young scientists and researchers to interact with the experts from different parts of the world.

[SCOPE]

 The scope of the conference include, but not limited to, the following:

• Antennas, including analysis, design, development, measurement, and testing
• Radiation, propagation, and the interaction of electromagnetic waves with discrete and continuous media
• Applications and systems pertinent to antennas, propagation, and sensing, such as applied optics, millimeter- and sub-millimeter-wave techniques
• Antenna signal processing and control, radio astronomy, and propagation and radiation aspects of terrestrial and space-based communication, including wireless, mobile, satellite, and telecommunications
• Analysis and design of EM materials, Artificial magnetic conductors (AMC), Electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures, Frequency selective surfaces (FSS), Fractal Structures, Metamaterials, Material Characterisation

[PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES]

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit regular papers in standard IEEE two-column format, and must be atleast 2 pages in length and maximum 4 pages. All papers accepted by APSYM 2020 will appear in the conference proceedings and the APSYM 2020 Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore® digital library, provided at least one of the authors of each paper registers for the symposium and presents the paper.
