The Classical and Consequential Control Composition Conversation: Regeneration Theory by H. Nyquist

The CCCCC events are set up for us control and robotics engineers to get back to the roots of our disciplines and to explore the major theoretical, technical, and industrial advances in our fields. Following on from the successs of Signal Processing and Communications Chapter's "First Tuesday (usually) Journal Club" and MTT/AP's "Microwaves at the Pub", we think that it is time that we got on the bandwagon.
This month's paper is the classic "Regeneration Theory" By H Nyquist. The discussion will be led by Alex Macintosh
This paper presents the first frequency domain stability criterion, rather than looking at the characteristic equation of the system, such as the work of Maxwell, Routh and Hurwitz.
