Abstract :
With the wake of earthquakes, wildfires, and hurricanes, the traditional energy grid in many parts of the country is struggling to keep power flowing, causing outages. To overcome this, the Microgrids - power installations that are designed to run independently from the wider electricity grid in emergency situations have come into the light. Many recent researches and developments have been done to make sustainable microgrid an economic reality. More insights into this emerging technology will be provided in this webinar on 'Microgrid and Clean Technologies'.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Kumudhini has a Ph.D. in Energy Modeling and Management from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. She is a University rank holder and has won several accolades over the years. She mentors several government agencies, educational institutions, and startups with a focus on strategy, innovation, and process re-engineering.
