IEEE CONECCT is the annual technical conference organized by the IEEE Bangalore Section. The theme of the conference encompasses Electronics, Communication, Signal Processing, and VLSI/Embedded Systems.  This year, the conference will be organized during July 25-26, 2019 at the prestigious Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. The highlights of the conference are:

• You will have the opportunity to listen to the President of the IEEE, Prof. Jose Moura.
• You will have the opportunity to listen to several plenary talks and invited talks by renowned speakers – Prateek Jain (Microsoft), Navakanta Bhat (VLSI/MEMS), Shanthi Pavan and Nagendra Krishnapura (Analog Design), Krishna Shenai (Power Electronics), Jaydeep Kulkarni (UT Austin), Jai Balakrishnan (Communications), Debabrata Das (Communications), and several others.
• Pre-conference tutorials on topics such as Block Chain, 5G Communication, and SoC Design for IoT will be organized on July 25. Whether you are a student, a faculty member, or a professional, these tutorials will prove to be very beneficial to you.
• The main conference will be organized in four parallel tracks on July 26-27.

A number of enthusiastic researchers from across India will present their R&D.  These papers have been peer-reviewed and will cover cutting-edge topics such as 5G communications, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Internet of Things. In addition, for the first time, we will feature a student symposium keeping in mind the vast student population and young professionals. The symposium will feature invited presentations by experts on topics such as wireless communications and Artificial Intelligence.

• A poster session will feature R&D efforts from a number of academic and R&D institutions across India
• An exhibit program will feature demonstrations of interesting projects from academic institutions and industry.
• A panel discussion on how job opportunities will be created by emerging technologies.
• Great networking opportunities at not only the conference but also at breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, and the banquet dinner

It is important that you plan ahead to get the most from IEEE CONECCT-2019! Register early to get early-bird discounts! Plan your days well –  plan on arriving at the venue between 8.00AM to 9.00AM.  Electronics City is well connected, and if you plan well, your travel will be comfortable and enjoyable. Since there are chances of showers in July, I recommend you carry an umbrella!
