SOAP 2019 is the third edition of summer school on optics and photonics organized by Applied Photonics Initiative , IISc consisting of student members of IEEE Photoncis Society, SPIE and OSA. The main aim of SOAP is to network photonics research students of India for their technical and professional progress. Students intending to go for higher studies in photonics and faculty members intending to do takeup research in photonics may also benefit by attending Photonics. The program consists of plenary talks, tutorial sessions, software demo/handson sessions, lab visits, poster presentations, career advise, etc.
