IEEE SmartTech is a flagship event of IEEE Bangalore Section. It is held annually as part of the Industry Relations program of the Section; where technology leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and thought provokers share their passion in addressing impactful problems, and vision on futuristic technologies that will/may disrupt/impact our way of working and living.

 The theme, for this edition of the workshop, is on "The Future of Electromobility in a Connected, Shared and Smart Ecosystem"; where technology practitioners will share their understanding on technologies and challenges for sustainable city-scale mobility in general and electromobility in specific; and how they will disrupt and impact our way of working and living. It will cover aspects on Battery Technology, Power Train Optimization, Driving Behaviour, EV Charging Infrastructure, Sensing Technology and ADAS, Connectivity and 5G, On-premise Computing and Edge, Digital Payments and Blockchain; and will discuss the role of Utilities/Infrastructure Players, and Government/Policy Makers in driving the future of  electromobility.
