WinTechCon – 2019 : Women’s Technology Conference

About the conference:

The IEEE WinTechCon 2019 (#WinTechCon2019) is scheduled for September 27, 2019 in Bengaluru. This is the second edition of the women’s technical conference, started in 2018 with the objective of providing opportunities to women technology leaders in India to present their work in emerging knowledge areas. Organized by the IEEE CAS Bangalore Chapter in cooperation with IEEE WiE (Women in Engineering) Council Bangalore and the IEEE Bangalore Section, this year’s conference theme is “Future Technologies for a Smart, Safe & Sustainable World”.

Call for papers:

The conference welcomes the submission of manuscripts for presentation, given the primary author is a woman. Conference topics include design, IP, verification, test, software and systems aspects of areas such as AI, cloud, 5G, IoT, automotive, smart energy, etc. Papers and project demos are being sought in each of these areas. Last date for submissions is May 3, 2019.

Registration:

The conference is open to all to attend. IEEE, IEEE-CAS and IEEE WiE members can avail themselves of discounted rates. Registration tariff and mode of payment will be announced shortly.

June 28:              Communication of acceptance to authors

July 9:                  Online registration begins
