Dear All,

We would like to invite individuals/teams from your university to participate in CodeSprint 4.0. Please find the registration details for CodeSprint 4.0 at the end of the mail. 

In 2016 IEEE Student Branch, Women in Engineering Affinity Group and the Computer Society of Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) in collaboration with Dialog Ideamart introduced a new innovative idea to the field of competitions, which was able to win the spotlight among other IEEE Student Branches. This was Sri Lanka's first University Startup Battle titled “CodeSprint". This competition was aimed at nurturing and guiding the students from an ideation stage to an implementation stage. This bridged the gap between Hackathons and the Startup culture.

With the success of CodeSprint in the past few years, the IEEE Student Branch of Informatics Institute of Technology continued the excitement with Code Sprint 4.0 for the fourth consecutive time, taking up the theme as "Youth Entrepreneurship Incubator and a Startup Battle". This program will take the young entrepreneurs on a journey from ideathon to MVP through workshops and mentorship guided by professionals from the tech industry. This competition for the first time will be introducing 2 different categories of entries as; 

• Students from Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT)
• Students from other Universities

University applicants can apply individually or in teams. Teams should have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members. While IITians could also apply individually or in teams where a team can have a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 6.
