1. A) Brief Details about this Program:

IEEE--PES/IAS/PELS Jt. Chapter, IEEE-Hyderabad Section,  is organizing this Professional Development Program. We invite Industry Professionals, Young Professionals / Faculty in Academic Institutions and Research Scholars/ Students.

Abstract of the above Lecture :

The objective of this PDP is Knowledge Transfer from Practicing Engineers in Industry/ R&D (working in the area of New Product Development) to Engineering Professionals in Industry & Academic Institutions. 

This PDP is a Lecture by  Dr. PV Rajgopal, General Manager (Retired), BHEL/ Corporate R&D, Hyderabad.

In this program the participants will be able to learn about the following information:

This PDP-Lecture will focus on Various aspects of New Product Development like Identification of New Products, Identification of New Markets for Products, Innovation, Technology Identification, management & development, Product Design, Engineering, Prototype Development, System Integration, Factory Testing, Field Testing & Commissioning, Productionizing, Commercialization, Intellectual Property Management (IPM) and other related aspects.

This Lecture includes Illustrations/ Case Studies of various Innovative & New Products Developed, in India and in other countries.

Also, this lecture will illustrate the benefits of Innovation and New Product Development for Business Excellence and Economic Development of the Nation and Region.

The  No. and who will participate from the above Colleges will be decided by their respective college management.

(If any vacancy arises due to less Members coming, then more Student Members will be accepted, subject to a Maximum of Total Student Members=40 Nos. even under this condition)
