A two day Workshop on "Electric Vehicles" in association with IEEE Student branch OUCE

Introduction:
In the era of increased global emissions and global warming, emphasis is on how to protect mother Earth. A lot of research is being carried out world-wide, on reducing the emissions which is the major cause of global warming. Electric/ Hybrid vehicles are one of such commodities which, not only have proved to have less emissions but also are capable of using renewable sources of energy thus preventing further depletion of fossil fuels.
Aim of the Programme:
While a lot of research is being carried out worldwide on electric/hybrid vehicle technology, there is still a lot of white space around it. With an aim to inculcate interest and improve research on electric/ hybrid vehicles in India, a 2 day workshop is being conducted by the Electrical Engineering Department, Osmania University. The workshop not only throws light on this existing electric/hybrid vehicle technology but also allows the participants to know the future market and technology trends. This will enable the participants to identify the areas of research that is of their interest. This is a platform for exchange of ideas that can result in eco-friendly industrial growth.
