Two-day workshop on "Nano-Enabled IoT": 11-12 March 2019 at CeNSE, IISc Bangalore

We are pleased to inform you that we are organising a two-day workshop titled "Nano-Enabled IoT" on behalf of IEEE Nanotechnology Council and Sensors Council Joint Student Chapter, on 11th and 12th of March 2019 at CeNSE, IISc Bangalore. The aim of the workshop is to provide a platform to interact and learn about nanotechnology and sensors applications in the modern-day world. The workshop has been designed in a way to give kick-start in IoT fundamentals as well as microcontroller programming. The workshop will comprise of tutorials followed by a hands-on session.
We have planned a total of 8 lecture sessions, with 4 lectures each day. Each tutorial session will be of approximately 45 minutes duration. The tutorials will comprise of topics related to following areas as decided after discussion with Prof. Navakanta Bhat (Chairperson- CeNSE):

  • Nanofabrication and Characterisation of Sensors
  • Embedded Systems 
  • Industry Talk - Case Study
  • Communication Protocols for IoT
  • Microcontroller Programming
  • Fundamentals of Signal Processing & Data Acquisition
