Section has been receiving many queries on Indian payment process for membership renewal.

This email gives more information on the process. Please note present conversion rate used for payment is INR 66 for 1$.

Individual Challan process –for new applicants/renewal

1. Visit www.ieee.org/join, select to ‘Join as a professional’ or ‘Join as a student’. If you are renewing your membership visit www.ieee.org/renew click the ‘Renew Now’ button and sign in your IEEE Account
2. For Joining as new member select the "Create Account" button. Enter your name, email address, password, and click on ‘Create Account and Continue Joining’ button.
3. Enter your address, education and employment information if needed to complete your registration. Click on ‘Proceed to checkout’ after you’ve saved your information.
4. Click on Pay by Challan after ‘Proceed to Checkout’

Make Payment via Challan

• Click on Pay by Challan after ‘Proceed to Checkout’
• Print the Individual Challan.
• Make payment at any Corporation Bank branch or at any other bank by Cash.
• The payment can be made by on-line banking, from an individual bank account, through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). The IEEE account number needs to be added as a beneficiary account for the on-line NEFT payment.
• Please note that payments for IEEE Membership(s) or products using a Challan are non-refundable and must be paid in India Rupees.
