Invitation to BIS-IEEE, half day Seminar on Smart Energy Storage @ IISc, Bangalore, 20 Sep 2018

BIS in partnership with IEEE are hosting series of seminars around India on the theme of 4th Industrial Revolution to commemorate the World Standards Day. 
 

The term Industry 4.0 has become a key concept in modern manufacturing.

The 4th industrial revolution, leverages technological advancements in both the physical and digital world to increase manufacturing capability and efficiency. The 4th industrial revolution introduces Cyber-Physical Systems into the manufacturing world and leverages the internet as a key media for sharing and collecting information, as well as driving distributed, intelligent decisions back to physical processes, introducing a smart ecosystem. The key components of the fourth industrial revolution, Cyber-Phisical systems, IoT and Internet of Services will revolutionize the manufacturing industry.

 
As a part of this we have organized a seminar at Dr. Satish Dhawan Auditorium,IISc, Bangalore, 9.00-14.00 hrs on 20th September 2018 on "Smart Energy Storage"
The talk will be followed by Panel discussion and lunch. Kindly register on the link provided.

- Mumbai:   26th Sep @IIT-B (Topic: Smart Manufacturing/Blockchain)
- Guwahati: 4Th Oct @IIT-G (Topic: Green Technology and Sustainability)
- Kanpur:   11th Oct @IIT-K (Topic: 5G) 
 
This will culminate in the BIS-IEEE World Standards Day event in Delhi on the 26th October (Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs will preside at this event)
The best presentation at these 4 venues may get an opportunity to  present at the grand event on 26th October 2018.
