Extended deadline for IEEE AP-MTT student travel grant

IEEE Australian MTT/AP Chapters Student Conference Paper Presentation Travel Grant
=========================================================
Consistent with its corporate objective of promoting the science and practice of electrical and electronic engineering, the Australian IEEE MTT/AP Chapters are pleased to offer limited financial support to IEEE MTT/AP student member authors wishing to present accepted papers at IEEE or approved non-IEEE conferences.

To receive a grant the recipient must:

• Be an IEEE MTT or AP society member prior to submitting travel grant application.
• Be a student (or have been at the time of paper submission deadline) and carry at least 50% of a normal full-time academic program as a registered undergraduate or graduate student in a regular course of study.
• Be the author or co-author of an accepted paper in the conference
• Have contributed to at least 50% of the research presented.
• Attend the conference and present the paper.

Extra information

• Prizes will be first awarded in 2018 after an initial advertising period of no less
than one calendar month
• It is envisaged that up to five prizes may be awarded by the IEEE MTT/AP Chapters in 2018
• The applicant must complete all of the details in the application below.
• Each prize may be up to an amount of $2000.
• Only one student author per paper will be awarded a travel grant.
• A student can receive only one grant per year.
• Each successful student must provide a 1 page report back to your local chapter on the conference & presentation
• The IEEE MTT/AP Chapter is under no obligation to make awards and may limit the total amount awarded in any year, or withhold awards completely, or make any other changes it sees fit, at its sole discretion.
