Professional Development Program-Visit to Schneider-Electric Factory (Near Hyderabad) and Lecture on "Smart Factory & Industrial Automation"

A) Brief Details about this Program:

IEEE--PES/IAS/PELS Jt. Chapter, IEEE-Hyderabad Section in association with M/s Schneider-Electric Co. Ltd, is organizing this Professional Development Program. We invite Industry Professionals, Faculty in Academic Institutions and B.Tech Students. In this program the participants will be able know about the latest Technologies being used in a modern factory. Also, they will  practically see the contemporary state-of-the art manufacturing automation technologies at work.

Brief details of the Major Topics that will be covered in the above Lecture and during the factory shop floor visit are as follows: 

Smart Factory:  "Smart Factory" is in-line with “TSC 4.0”, the latest industrial revolution. Smart manufacturing operations help to improve profitability and yield while increasing flexibility in plant. During this visit, the participants will be explained and shown M/s Schneider’s  modern facilities/ practices like  EcoStruxure , IoT-enabled solutions, Connected products and Wonderwave platform, Augmented operator and Additive manufacturing.

Industrial Automation: During this visit the participants will be explained and shown practically about latest Indutrial automation technologies in Robotics, Automated Test Benches, AMR avaiable in this factory.

B) Registration Details :

2)Total Participants No. Limit: IEEE-Members=15 Nos./ IEEE-Student Members=10 Nos.

(If any vacancy arises due to less Members coming, then more Student Members will be accepted, subject to a Maximum of Total Student Members=20 Nos. even under this condition)  

3) Registration is Mandatory. Registration is Open ONLY for IEEE-Members and IEEE-Student Members. 

4) Registration Fee is Rs.600/= per person. (This Includes Transport and Lunch) 

4-1) Note: Transport will be provided from a Designated Boarding Point in the City. All Participants must Travel by the Vehicle provided Only. This is  for Smooth Coordination of Logistics and Factory Entry. No Arrival at Factory by Personal Transport will be accepted.

5) Registration Starts on: 14-July-2018/ Saturday 7:00 AM  and  Registration Ends on: 18-July-2018/ Tuesday/ 7:00 PM

6)All IEEE-Members are requested to Register On-Line through the link provided in the eNotice or by email directly to the person designated below. In the mail their IEEE-Membership No. and Contact Phone No. should be provided.

7) ALL IEEE-Student Members are Requested to Register by email to the person designated below. In the mail their IEEE-Student Membership No./ Contact Phone No./ College Name/ Student Branch-PES Chapter Code/ PES-Chapter Faculty Advisor Name/ Phone No./ Email ID should be provided.

8) Confirmation of Registration Acceptance: This will be intimated to the selected Persons who Registered. 

9) Registration Fee Payment Method: This will be intimated to the Persons who received Confirmation of Registration.
