Dear Colleagues, greeting of the day!

It is a matter of immense pleasure to inform you that, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur (UP) India & University of Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan are jointly organizing the “5th IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering UPCON 2018” from 2-4 November 2018. (IEEE Conference Record Number: 43684).

UPCON is the only sole IEEE conference of UP Section and is organized annually at various locations in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Prior to this, first four series of UPCON conferences were organized at GCET Greater Noida (2014), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad (2015), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-BHU) Varanasi (2016), and GLA University Mathura (2017) respectively.

It provides an opportunity to academicians, researchers and practicing engineers, to meet in a forum to discuss different issues and its future direction in the field of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering. There are three main tracks in the conference covering almost all areas of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science & Engineering. The conference is technically & financially sponsored by IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section.

Each track is having the following main components:

• Paper presentations and best paper awards for each track
• Poster presentations and best poster awards for each track
• Key Note Lecture
• Panel Discussions
• Awards for best three PhD Thesis.

Paper Submissions:

All accepted and presented papers of the conference by duly registered authors will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for Publication (Conference Record Number: 43684). Previous UPCON proceedings are indexed by SCOPUS, and Google Scholar.
