Dear Colleagues, Following numerous requests, we are happy to announce that the deadline for paper submission has been EXTENDED TO May 21, 2018. You are cordially invited to submit your contributions to IECON 2018, to be held in October, 21-23, 2018, in Washington D.C.

Topics of interest include but not limited to:

• ENERGY (Power Systems, Electrical Machines and Drives, Power Electronics, Resilience, Renewables, Transportation Electrification)
• CONTROLS (Control Systems, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computational Intelligence, Sensors, Actuators)
