Abstract of talk

Reliability engineering is a sub-discipline of systems engineering that emphasizes dependability in the lifecycle management of a product. Reliability describes the ability of a system or component to function as per the specifications, under stated conditions for a specified period of time. Design for reliability sands for a collection of processes, performed during the design of the product so as to ensure that, the product is able to perform to a required level of reliability.
