We, at IEEE UVCE are extremely gratified to announce our 17th Annual National Level Technical Fest, IMPETUS 18.0 scheduled to happen on 23rd & 24th of March, 2018 at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore.
"IMPETUS", recognized to foster technological innovation and improve the skills of technical enthusiasts was started in the year 2001 and has been a grand success since. It is a technical fest which demonstrates the ever-evolving nature of technology and strives to bring the cutting edge skills to our budding engineers. This year is going to be a treat for all the technical and fun enthusiasts who will be getting an incredible opportunity to showcase their talents. With a prolific and dexterous approach, aimed to conduct events which leads to research, innovation and creativity, themed on “Automation - The Next Dimension”, it is going to set a benchmark in the 100 years of UVCE's glory. We have planned a number of events and workshops centered on the theme that will challenge the students to enhance their technical acumen.
We have been fortunate in the past years to have students from your college participating in our fest and we are hopeful that this year will be no exception.

IEEE UVCE has been the most active students' hub in the century old UVCE. It has always been a source for out-of-textbook learning for all its members conducting various technical and fun events throughout the year. And hence in it's flagship fest, a blend of technology and fun atmosphere will be seen engulfing the college on two days of the fest. The motto of the fest is not just to conduct a few events on the 2 days, rather it is to make sure that at the end of the day, participants can take home memories and technical experience.
Having continuously performed better each year, the fest is aimed to bring the tech world closer to the lives of people. 100 years of UVCE demands a bigger, better and grander fest that it has ever seen in its history.
