Member-Get-Member Scheme

This mail is to introduce you to the IEEE Member Get a Member Scheme. In simple terms, if you recruit a member, you will get points (dollar) rewards which you can utilize / redeem on the IEEE sites, to purchase papers, membership etc.

In details, if you recruit sufficient members (when they get the membership, they must quote your name and membership number) you can get your membership for free. e.g. a student member recruiting 14 or more student members can earn more than $27, which is the student membership dues. a grad student can earn enough to purchase that paper they wanted from IEEE Explore for their research. If they recruit professional members, they earn  faster. final year students who work hard, can get their first year's Professional membership dues reduced through MGM.  Please read the details below to understand the rules better.

See tips for recruiting members below inthe email.

Note: When getting the membership, the new joining member, must mention your name and membership number for you to accumulate the points. You can print cards with your details on it and distribute among the population you are considering recruiting.

Note: MGM is not just for IEEE membership, but also for Professional Society memberships too. Please check your fav. society pages for details. You will get notifications from IEEE each time points are credited to your membership.
