About the topic: Where goes the data, so go the investigators. The strong impact of computing on everyday life and criminal life has increased the need for tools that can investigate computer, networks and their data in a communication environment. This fact is particularly relevant to the internet, where the ease and occurrence of data transfer notably facilitates certain types of illegal activity by its users. This topic covers various branches of digital forensics, methodologies, tools, trends and potential research problems etc.

About the Speaker:Mr. Manesh T, is a passionate teacher and researcher, presently working as a Faculty & Research Fellow in the Information Security and Digital forensics domain of Department of Computer Science at the Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since 2012.  Previously he worked as an Assistant Professor and spearheaded the Department of Information Technology at the Adi Shankra Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady Kerala, India. His area of expertise includes Information Security, Cyber Security and Digital Forensic Sciences. He is doing his PhD in the area of Digital Forensics. He has given many lectures in the national and international conferences and workshops. He has accomplished many funded research works at the Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University Saudi Arabia in the area of Cyber Security and Digital forensics in association with Resource Centre for Cyber Forensics, CDAC Trivandrum. Mr.Manesh is also very active in Professional organizations. He is a life member of Computer Society of India and IEEE.
