IEEE PES Forum on "Future Strategies for the South Australian Power System"

 

The South Australian power system is currently undergoing significant changes as more distributed and renewable energy power sources are introduced.  This seminar seeks to explore various perspectives of the future directions and shapes of the network.  Aspects will be presented by:

·       AEMO, the Energy Market and Grid Operator

·       University of Adelaide, technical overview

·       Deloitte, to present an economist viewpoint of the SA Market

·       Power utility, ElectraNet

An open forum is to be held after the presentations.

This forum will be jointly run by the IEEE Power Engineering Society (PES) SA Chapter and the EESA.  It will be held from 5:30 pm (refreshments and networking from 5:00 pm) to 8:00 pm on Tuesday 8th August 2017.  


The venue is the UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE, North Terrace Campus, Scott Theatre.  Best access from Kintore Avenue.  See link below (map reference G5)
