The 34th Annual Newfoundland Electrical and Computer Engineering Conference, NECEC 2026, will be held in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, on November 12, 2026.
NECEC 2026 welcomes researchers, engineers, students, industry professionals, startups, applied research groups, and technical teams to submit and present their work. The conference provides a local platform for academic research, industry innovation, applied engineering solutions, networking, and collaboration across Newfoundland and Labrador’s engineering and technology community.
Submission types include academic papers for oral presentation, industry papers for oral presentation, industry oral presentations without full paper submission, and poster presentations.
Topics include artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, deep learning, generative models, software and computing, signal and image processing, biomedical engineering, circuits and systems, green communication systems and networks, control, instrumentation and robotics, ocean engineering, power and alternative energy, privacy and security, remote sensing and earth observations, space engineering, and other ECE-related topics.
