Introduce Youth to Electricity & Electronics Careers This Summer

Your help is needed with an important STEM project this summer.  The IEEE Richmond Section is a supporter of the IEEE emeritbadges Project.  The Electricity Merit Badge Booth and the Electronics Merit Badge Booth at the 2017 National Scout Jamboree in Glen Jean, WV this summer will be sponsored by the IEEE emeritbadges Project.  Volunteers are needed for this STEM project.  The Jamboree will be attended by over 20,000 boys and girls.

Here is how you can help:

• Friday, July 14, 2017 – Load truck with supplies (7:00 AM – 12:00 PM) – Henrico, VA
• Saturday, July 15, 2017 – Tuesday, July 18, 2017 –  Construct 40’ x 40’ booth - Glen Jean, WV
• Wednesday, July 19, 2017 – Thursday, July 27, 2017 – Provide merit badge instruction - Glen Jean, WV (You can volunteer for the entire Jamboree or just one day).
• Saturday, July 29, 2017 – Unload truck with supplies – Henrico, VA
