IEEE AP-S CAC–COPE Meeting

The IEEE AP-S Chapter Chairs Meeting (CCM) and the IEEE AP-S Committee on Promoting Equality (COPE) Meeting will be held during the 2026 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
IEEE AP-S CCM Travel Grant Information
- Maximum grant amount: USD 2,250
- Eligibility: AP-S CCM travel grants may be received once every three years.
- Special Membership Recruitment Incentive: IEEE AP-S Student Branch Chapter (SBC) Faculty Advisors and Chapter Officers who recruit 100 or more new AP-S members during 2026 will be eligible for a CCM travel grant. For these recipients, the once-every-three-years limitation does not apply.
- The travel grant covers:
- Economy-class airfare or train travel
- Hotel accommodation for up to three nights
- Reimbursement will be processed based on actual expenses through IEEE CONCUR after submission of the required expense report.
- Please note: The CCM travel grant does not cover the conference registration fee.
Presentation Requirement
All IEEE AP-S Chapters, Joint Chapters, and Student Branch Chapters attending the CCM and COPE Meeting are requested to prepare a PowerPoint presentation summarizing their chapter activities.
Presentation Guidelines
Please include the following:
- Highlights of chapter activities conducted between January 1, 2026, and July 10, 2026
Planned chapter activities for the remainder of 2026
Presentation Duration:
- Preferred: 5 minutes
- Maximum: 10 minutes
The final presentation schedule will be coordinated by Dr. Ajay K. Poddar and Dr. Yahia M. M. Antar, based on the total number of participating chapters.
