Subject line: Call for Papers – MIPRO Robotics 2026, Zadar, Croatia, 9-12 September 2026 (IEEE technical co-sponsorship)

Dear IEEE Members,

On behalf of the IEEE Croatia Section and the Croatian Society MIPRO, we are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 5th MIPRO Robotics Conference, to be held on 9–12 September 2026 at the University of Zadar, Croatia. The event is organised as a hybrid conference with technical co-sponsorship of IEEE Region 8, the IEEE Croatia Section, the IEEE Croatia Section Education Chapter, the IEEE Croatia Section Robotics and Automation Chapter, and the IEEE Croatia Section Signal Processing Chapter.

The conference comprises three integrated components:

•         RTA – Robotics Technologies and Applications (main conference)

•         RTA-DRONES – Drones for Safety and Purpose (special session)

•         RDDC – Robot-Drone Demo Convoy (Robot-Nautic Event).

RTA addresses the full breadth of intelligent and autonomous robotics, including AI in robotics, mobile and humanoid systems, manipulation and motion planning, robot learning, marine robotics (USV/UUV), maritime autonomous surface ships, aerial robotics and UAVs, medical and healthcare robotics, and human-robot interaction. RTA-DRONES brings together researchers, engineers, manufacturers, and policymakers around the multidisciplinary use of unmanned aerial systems in the framework of security, ethics, and geopolitics of the 21st century. The RDDC, held on 12 September 2026 in cooperation with Sailing Club USKOK, will feature live aerial- and underwater-robotics demonstrations during a sailing convoy through the Zadar archipelago, marking the 30th anniversary of the Zadar University Regatta.

Abstract submission - 15 June 2026

Full-paper submission - 3 August 2026

Acceptance notification - 17 August 2026

Camera-ready submission - 24 August 2026

Accepted papers will be published in the ISSN-registered conference proceedings. Official languages are English and Croatian. Accepted and presented papers in English will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
