Travel Grant for Attending the IEEE AP-S Chapter Chairs Meeting (CCM) at IEEE AP-S/URSI

  • IEEE AP-S CAC-COPE Meeting: Monday, 13 July - 12:00-16:00

The IEEE AP-S Chapter Chairs Meeting (CCM) and AP-S COPE meeting will be held during the 2026 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting, to be held in Detroit, Michigan, USA, at the Huntington Place.

Travel Grant Application

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Chapter Chairs and Joint Chapter Chairs are encouraged to apply for a travel grant to attend the CCM at IEEE AP-S/URSI.

The submission deadline is extended from 31 March to 31 May 2026. Submit the completed form via email to Dr. Ajay Poddar at akpoddar@ieee.org by 31 May 2026.

  • IEEE AP-S CCM Travel Grant Details

    • AP-S CCM travel grants are capped at USD 2,250.
    • CCM travel grants may be availed once every three years.
    • Special Incentive: IEEE AP-S SBC Faculty Branch Advisors and Chapter Officers who recruit 100+ new AP-S members in 2026 will be eligible for a travel grant, and the once-every-three-years restriction will not apply in this case. These incentive-based grants are exempt from the above frequency limitation.
    • The grant covers economy-class air/train travel and accommodation for up to three nights.
    • Reimbursement (actuals) will be processed through IEEE CONCUR upon submission of an expense report.
    • The CCM travel grant does not cover the conference registration fee.

    Presentation Requirement – AP-S Chapter Chairs Meeting (CCM)

    All AP-S Chapters, Joint Chapters, and Student Branch Chapters attending the CCM are requested to prepare a presentation (PowerPoint) summarizing their activities.

    Key points to include:

    • Highlights of chapter activities from January 1, 2026, to July 10, 2026
    • Planned chapter activities for the remainder of 2026

    Maximum presentation duration: 10 minutes. The final schedule will be coordinated by Dr. Ajay K. Poddar and Dr. Charlotte Blair, based on the number of presentations.
