The IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Chapter Department is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for the 2026 IAS Outstanding Chapter Awards.
These awards recognize outstanding performance, impactful activities, and strong engagement of IAS Chapters worldwide. We encourage all eligible Chapters to apply and showcase their achievements.
Categories:
- Outstanding Small IAS Chapter (Less than 100 members)
- Outstanding Large IAS Chapter (More than or equal to 100 members)
- Outstanding joint IAS Chapter
- Outstanding Student Branch Chapter
- Outstanding New Chapter (Less than 12 months since receiving confirmation)
- Outstanding New Student Branch Chapter (Less than 12 months since receiving confirmation)”
- Continued Outstanding Performance SB Chapter
- Chapter with Best Website
- Student Branch Chapter with Best Website
Application details:
- Submission deadline: May 8th, 2026. (11:59 PM ET)

All applications will be carefully reviewed, and selected Chapters will be recognized for their excellence and contributions to IAS.
Prizes:
The winning chapter in each category will be awarded a cash prize of $350 (to be provided to the IAS unit for use in IAS activities), as well as a Travel Grant under AMTGP 2026 to attend the IAS Annual Meeting in Vancouver, Canada, from October 4–8, 2026. This travel grant will be awarded to a representative selected by the chapter. The representative may be the chapter chair, vice chair, secretary, or any other officer.
