Developing Standards in Magnetics: IEEE Magnetics Society and IEEE Standards Association Workshop
Theme 1: Standardizing Sensors - Thursday, July 9, 15h30 – 19h30
This IEEE Standards Association sponsored satellite workshop brings together metrology institutes, industry partners, and academia to identify critical gaps in the standardization of magnetic sensors and systems. The workshop goal is to define measurable priorities, outline inter-laboratory round-robin concepts, discuss characterization and measurement protocols, and establish a roadmap toward ISO/EURAMET standard activities. The format includes invited expert talks, moderated panel discussion, and structured breakout sessions focused on actionable outcomes. Participation is included in the registration fee.

Publication in IEEE Magnetics Letters
Participants who present an oral or poster contribution at EMSA2026 are invited to submit their work to IEEE Magnetics Letters. The submitted manuscripts will undergo regular peer-review process with at least two peer review rounds, according to the journal's standards.
