IEEE Lebanon Joint Chapter IE/PE/CAS/PEL is pleased to announce the launch of the IEEE CASS 2026 Student Design Competition in Lebanon!
This global competition invites undergraduate and high-school students to develop innovative, hardware-based solutions to real-world problems using circuits and systems.
Lebanon’s winning teams will advance to the Regional Level (Region 8) and then to the World Finals at ISCAS 2026 in Shanghai, China, where CASS will cover travel expenses for the regional finalists. The global winning team will receive a $3,000 USD prize.
Let’s empower our talented youth and highlight Lebanon’s engineering excellence on the international stage.

IEEE CASS 2026 Student Design Competition Registration – Phase One (Lebanon Chapter)
The competition will run across three phases:
- Phase one is at the Chapter level (Lebanon)
- Phase two is at the Regional level (Region 8 - Europe, Middle East, Africa)
- Phase three is at the World level during ISCAS 2026 in Shanghai, China
Deadline to register for phase one of the competition is January 4, 2026.
