YP Networking Event 2025 Fall

🎉 Join the IEEE Young Professionals (YP) Networking Session at UVic!

IEEE YP members and recent graduates are invited to a dedicated networking meetup during the IEEE Victoria Section event on December 3, featuring 15+ industry professionals across engineering and technology fields.

📅 Date: December 3, 2025

🕒 Time: 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM (Main YP Networking Window)

📍 Location: ECS 660 & ECS Lobby, UVic

🍕 Food: Free pizza & refreshments

🌟 What’s Planned for YP Members?

🔹 Dedicated YP networking space

ECS 660 will serve as the central area for YP members to connect with industry guests, discuss career paths, and meet peers in a relaxed setting.

🔹 Industry presence

Over 15 professionals from local engineering and tech sectors will be attending.

🔹 Casual and friendly atmosphere

A great chance to exchange ideas, discover opportunities, and grow your network.

🔍 About the Poster Competition (Optional for YP)

While the main focus for YP attendees is networking, the broader event also includes an Undergraduate Poster Competition showcasing innovative student projects in engineering and computer science.

YP members are welcome—but not required—to explore the posters after 5:45 PM.
