Dear IEEE Puerto Rico Members,

We are glad to invite you to the first IEEE Congressional Visit (ICOP) in Puerto Rico, organized by IEEE Region 9 and IEEE USA. ICOP (https://ieeeusa.org/public-policy/icop/) is a unique opportunity for IEEE members to engage directly with elected officials on critical technology and innovation policies.

Through this initiative, participants can advocate for the future of engineering, research, and innovation in Puerto Rico and help shape policies that impact our profession and our communities. This event marks an important step in strengthening the connection between the engineering community and policymakers, encouraging dialogue on the role of technology in driving sustainable growth and social progress.

The event will have no only the participation of IEEE Region 9 and IEEE-USA authorities, but also a guest IEEE Regional Director who bring valuable experience from previous ICOP events, helping us maximize the impact and success of this first edition in Puerto Rico.
