Dear IEEE NL Section member,

I hope you are all safe and well. We are putting together our slate of candidates for the 2026 IEEE NL Executive. A list of candidates is now in place. In accordance with our bylaws (https://www.ieeenl.ca/bylaws/), members have 14 days to nominate alternate candidates by petition.

The slate of nominees is as follows:

Chair: Xianta Jiang  (second year in role)
Vice-Chair: Vinicius Prado da Fonseca (second year in role)
Treasurer: Thakshila Thilakanayake (ascending from junior treasurer role)
Secretary: Matthew Hamilton (second year in role)

Any additional nominations for the positions can be submitted to the Nominations Committee Chair Oscar De Silva (oscar.desilva@mun.ca), on or before <posted date + 14 days>. Details regarding an election (if required) will be released following that date.
