Technology Transfer Officer, Waterloo Commercialization Office (WatCo), University of Waterloo
Eric Luvisotto is a registered Canadian Patent Agent (2003) and Professional Engineer, with MEng (1998) and BASc (1995) degrees in Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
With over two decades of experience in Intellectual Property, Eric has worked in law firms, industry, and academia. At WatCo, he analyzes new ideas for patentability and commercial potential, negotiates licensing agreements, and supports start-up creation.
He is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and frequent guest lecturer on topics such as IP 101, Trademarks, and Copyright.
