Reminder: IEEE Mission Tomorrow Event Update and Planning Meeting
Thank you for volunteering to help with IEEE's participation in the Mission Tomorrow career exploration event to be held Oct 21-23. I have a preliminary update on the starting and ending times for the event and have also scheduled planning sessions for those who will be helping with activity planning.
First the starting and ending times... I was told on Friday that we have been assigned to Exhibit Area 5 and that the last of the students will probably leave our area around 1:30 pm. An ending time of 1:30 pm should mean a starting time of 9:15 am. I am hoping to get confirmation of those times from the organizer on Monday. Once I have definite times, I will set up a form where you all can indicate what days/times you would like to help.
Second, the planning meetings... I've scheduled two planning meetings to try to accommodate as many people's schedules as possible. Both meetings will cover the same topics, so if you want to help plan the activities please pick whichever time works best for you. If you cannot make either time, I can follow-up with you to bring you up to speed and to get your input.
