Dear IEEE ComSoc Student Members

Please see below the information about IEEE ComSoc Student Competition 2025. IEEE ComSoc holds this annual student competition with the goal of encouraging communications engineering students to expand their knowledge, test and showcase new skills, and inspire innovation. The winning student (or student team) can earn up to US$2,500. The team leader or individual that wins first prize will be invited to receive the prize at IEEE GLOBECOM 2025.

Monetary prizes have been increased as follows:
1st Prize:      USD 2,500.
2nd Prize:      USD 1,500.
3rd Prize:      USD 1,000.

Moreover, the winner will be invited to receive the Prize at GLOBECOM 2025, Taipei, Taiwan, with expenses paid.

Competition Description

The theme of the competition is “The Communication Technology changing the World” aimed at recognizing students, or teams of students, who demonstrate the ability to improve people’s lives through the application of communication technology, to the development of projects displaying potential to contribute to a better future.
