📢 IEEE YP Victoria Presents:
3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition
Are you a graduate student or postdoctoral researcher with exciting research to share?
Can you explain your work in just 3 minutes?
Join us for the 2025 IEEE Young Professionals (YP) Victoria 3MT Competition and showcase your research to a broad audience!
📅 Event Date: September 9, 2025
📝 Registration Deadline: August 31, 2025
📍 Venue: Engineering & Computer Science Building 660, University of Victoria
💡 How It Works:

Each participant has 3 minutes to present their research.

Presentations are limited to a maximum of 10 slides, and animations or transitions should be minimized to enhance clarity.

Judging by a panel of faculty and industry representatives.
🏆 Prizes:
-
1st Place: $150 (+$50 if IEEE member)

2nd Place: $100 (+$50 if IEEE member)

3rd Place: $50 (+$50 if IEEE member)

Audience Choice Award: Certificate or small gift
