Informative Session: IEEE R9 Regional Student Awards
The activity titled "Informative Session: IEEE R9 Regional Student Awards" aims to provide a general orientation session for IEEE Region 9 Student Branches to share guidelines and recommendations for applying for the 2025 IEEE Regional Student Awards.
During the session, the different award categories available are explained, including recognition for Affinity Groups and Technical Chapters, success story competitions, photography, membership growth, web presence, and outstanding participation in IEEE Day and the SAC committee.
In addition to presenting the evaluation criteria and application requirements, emphasis is placed on key dates, especially the application deadline: July 27, 2025. Attendees are guided through the application form and provided with official resources for effective participation.
This training is primarily aimed at advisors, student leaders, and active members of Student Branches and seeks to encourage greater regional participation and recognize the outstanding efforts of students in Latin America and the Caribbean.
