The 28th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC 2025) invites researchers, scientists, engineers, and practitioners to submit their original research contributions to the Technical Program. The theme of this year’s symposium is “Shaping the 6G Empowered Future: Where Artificial Intelligence, High Performance Computing, and Digital Twins Unlock Prosperity,” which aims to provoke discussions and inspire attendees, while positioning the event as a platform to explore the transformative potential of these cutting-edge technologies to pave a dynamic and inclusive digital future for humanity.
The WPMC symposia series were inaugurated in 1998, as a global platform to enable collaboration in the field of wireless information. Held in Asia, Europe and America, WPMC has established itself as a unique global conference dedicated to wireless multimedia convergence. The 28th WPMC will be held for the first time in the historical and beautiful city of Sofia, Bulgaria, on 9-12 November 2025.
Scope
The symposium will focus on the latest advances in wireless personal multimedia communications, including but not limited to:
● Communication Spectrum and Technologies
● AI-Enabled Wireless Networks
● Applications, Testbed, Use Cases and 6G Planning
● Security, Privacy and Ethics
● Sensor Networks and Smart Applications
● Robotic Networking and Automation
● Public, Private, Policy and Governance
Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit their original contributions in the form of technical papers, poster papers, or demonstration proposals. All submissions must be written in English and must not exceed the specified page limit.
● Technical papers: maximum 5 pages, including figures and references.
● Demonstration/poster proposals: maximum 2 pages, including figures and references.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by three independent reviewers.
Accepted papers will be published in the symposium proceedings and will be eligible for presentation at the symposium.
