Dear IEEE Indonesia Section Members,

I am pleased to inform you,  that the Executive Committee of our Section has appointed the Election Committee for the IEEE Indonesia Section Chair 2017, consisting of five members of the Advisory Board, below:

1. Muhammad Ary Murti
2. Dr. Ir. Wahidin Wahab, M.Sc.
3. Arief Hamdani
4. Kuncoro Wastuwibowo, M.Sc., and
5. Arnold Djiwatampu.

In an on-line communications among its members, the Election Committee agreed that Arifin Nugroho will act as the Committee Chair.

Further the Election Committee decided, the following:
1. The candidate for the 2017 IEEE Indonesia Section Chair are :  Dr. Ford Lumban Gaol,  Dr. Fitri Yuli Zulkifli, S.T., M.Sc.
The Candidates  Ms. Agnes Irwanti and Filbert Yuwono Ph.D as the Secretary and the Treasurer, respectively.

The IEEE Indonesia Section Chair candidate is free to select other Section Executive Committee members aside from those being  proposed by the Election Committee for Secretary and Treasurer, if he/she so wishes, including a Section Vice Chair as an option, to be submitted to and endorsed by the Election Committee.

2. The Membership is entitled to submit a Petition for one or more candidates for Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer (as a package), within 28 days of this announcement, and to be supported (to be signed) by at least 10 eligible voting members (this does not include Student Members). The proposed submission for the Section Chair is recommended from past Executive Committee of IEEE Indonesia Section or past Chapter Chair.

3. The candidates will be formally announced thereafter.

4. The members having voting rights are kindly requested to immediately enter the voting thereafter. The time limit will be announced at that announcement.
