IEEE New Jersey Coast "R1 Inter-Sections Collaborative" Lunch Cruise

IEEE Lunch Cruise setup to Collaborate between 5 Sections and key [Region 1 & IEEE Staff] to create larger events. 

 

Collaborate with the New Jersey Coast Section for bigger and better cross-sectional events.  Yes, we will celebrate our 60th Anniversary! It's been noted that Section and Chapter Officers do NOT readily have an opportunity to meet other "like" Chapter Officers from other Sections to discuss creating such events.  This Lunch Cruise is designed to do just that.  We are planning Three Levels of Collabotation during our cruise time.

 Three Levels of Collaboration:

[1] Chapter Level - Chapter Officers of "like" chapters will create events that are cosponsored with "like" chapters of other Sections.

[2] Section Level - Section Officers of surrounding Sections will create events that are cosponsored with other Sections for a larger audience.

[3] Society Level -  Societies look for new locations each year to host their Conferences.  Sections bid for the honor to "host" them.  It is similar to cities bidding to host the Olympics.  The New Jersey and New York area can be that host.  We are hoping to host a different Society Conference every year here after.

Perth Amboy Dinner Cruise

FREE Parking - parking is included.

OPEN Bar with Lunch Cruise - Lunch Buffet style foods, butler style appetisers, open bar and International desserts are included.

Boarding starts at 11:30 AM.  Boat leaves at 12:00 PM.  

Cornucopis Cruise Line will cruise along the New Jersey and Staten Island shoreline; leaving from Perth Amboy NJ. 

Top deck reserved for IEEE; 60-100 maximum people to be divided among 5 Sections + Special Guests [Region/IEEE Staff] a Total of 6 groups; aproximately 10-20 people per group.  Limited seating means Registration by Invitation Only.  Section Chairs [Long Island, NJC, North Jersey, NY and Princeton] to decide their invitation list of 10-20 people.  Special Invites include key Region 1 and IEEE Staff].

This is NOT a FREE Event. 

Pricing for Invited NJC Officers: $50/per person; $70 balance is subsidized by the section.  Please do NOT Register unless you are invited.  If you are invited and wish to bring a Spouse of Family member, FEE is $120 or Full Price.

Any IEEE Members or Spouses who are NOT invited: $120 or Full Price.  This category may be considered later if we have extra seating.

Please Register and Pay according to an Invitation and your catagory.  Seating is limited to accommodate other sections and special guests.

The IEEE New Jersey Coast Section appreciates your volunteerism. This cruise is setup to create an enviroment where Section and Chapter Officers can come together in one boat to discuss bigger and better cross-sectional events. 

This concept falls in line with IEEE's new motto: "We are all ONE IEEE".  "We are all in one boat!"
