  • Pre-University Education
  • University Education
  • Continuing Education

IEEE R8 PEAC Local Language Program 2025 – Call for Proposals
Are you passionate about enhancing educational accessibility in IEEE Region 8 through language? The IEEE R8 PEAC Local Language Program is back and eager to support your innovative educational initiatives! 🌍📚
🚀 What is it?
The IEEE PEAC Local Language program is intended to promote activities (online or in person) and online content in different languages (aside from English) in Region 8.
This program promotes IEEE content and its areas across the entire Region 8 and has funds available to help these activities be developed.
Currently, Region 8 is looking for ambassadors who will arrange several events in their selected local languages. Each ambassador can be nominated in more than one language if they are available.
 
🧠 Who can apply?
  • IEEE Members from different sections in Region 8.
  • Applicants must be able to speak at least one language aside from English fluently.
 
🥇 What's in it for you?
  • Selected ambassadors will have a max of 250 USD available for this program. Funding applications will open after the selection of the ambassadors
  • Promotion of your initiative through IEEE Region 8 channels
  • The chance to inspire others and contribute meaningfully to the educational mission of IEEE
