Dear Life Members, Life Senior Members, and Life Fellows,

I hope this message finds you well. I am delighted to share exciting news with you!

The petition to form the IEEE Richmond Section Life Member Affinity Group (LMAG) has been officially approved. The approval date is 16 April 2025, and the group's identification code is LM30002. Please find the official congratulatory letter attached for your reference.

This is a significant milestone for our Section, and I want to sincerely thank each of you for your support, encouragement, and commitment that made this possible.

With this addition, all Life Members, Life Senior Members, and Life Fellows of our Section are now part of the new Life Member Affinity Group. I look forward to seeing strong engagement and collaboration across all our member groups as we move forward.

Next Steps:
I will set up a meeting for the same and will try my best for below details 

• Discuss the purpose and vision of the Life Member Affinity Group.

• Explore volunteer opportunities for leadership roles and active participation.

• Share ideas for future activities, networking events, and ways to contribute to the IEEE and the community.

In the spirit of strengthening our connections and fostering greater engagement, I am excited to announce that we will soon plan a social gathering for all IEEE Richmond Section members, including our newly formed Life Member Affinity Group. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet in person, network, exchange ideas, and celebrate our collective achievements.
